M_A Storefront

M_A Storefront in Echo Park is an experimental architecture exhibition space and activity center. Opened in 2019, the Storefront is a temporary project space focused on unconventional public programs that activate the street, and provocative exhibitions that challenge the relationship between audience, artistic work, and institution. We liken this space to a diorama, visible from the street side and occupiable during open hours or select programming. This tiny storefront on Sunset Blvd allows us to host intimate events and temporary installations.
Beginning in Spring 2023, the M_A Storefront Project Space hosts the M_A Storefront co-residency, a series of spatialized, transdisciplinary collaborations that aim to reject and confound the divisive effects of disciplinarity.

The Chinatown office is where we work! Located in the historic Mandarin Plaza, we share our office space with past and future collaborators, including arts organizers, cultural producers, and architectural practitioners. This is where all our planning and joyful arts administration happens!
M_A Courtyard

The M_A x Craft Contemporary Courtyard in Mid-City is an urban pocket park that functions as a space of learning and experimentation for architecture and art. Hosted in the compact courtyard of Craft Contemporary, M_A will commission and program an annual installation every summer from 2021-2026, set to open from May - September.
