Kimberli Meyer is a Los Angeles-based curator, writer, and architect. She is the former director of the University Art Museum at California State University, Long Beach.Previously, she served as director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House, where she organized numerous exhibitions, including How Many Billboards? Art In Stead, which presented 21 newly commissioned artworks on Los Angeles billboards (2010); Sympathetic Seeing: Esther McCoy and the Heart of American Modernist Architecture and Design (2011); and AV: New Works by Andrea Fraser, Vanessa Place (2014). Meyer studied and trained as an architect and an artist, receiving an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and a BA in architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Toby Tannenbaum is an artist and independent professional consulting with museums and nonprofits. She was Assistant Director for Education and Public Programs at the J. Paul Getty Museum, overseeing programs and materials for all audiences at both museum sites and serving on the museum’s senior management team. She was previously the Director of Education at LACMA and Associate Director of Education at MOCA. She has served as faculty in the School of Critical Studies at the California Institute of the Arts, in the School of Fine Arts and the School of Education at USC, and as an assistant professor at CSULA. She holds an MFA and BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
