Founded in 2002, Materials & Applications (M&A) is a non-profit dedicated to building a public culture of experimental architecture in Los Angeles. Our mission is to advance innovative and critical ideas in architecture through temporary outdoor installations, workshops, and dialogues in collaboration with architects, artists, and communities. Our public projects and programs are central to our mission and include both exclusive and public events, transforming under-used sites into temporary pocket-parks for convening, socializing, dancing, thinking and playing! 

Through sustainable, visionary support, sponsors will catapult an interactive public art project that encourages new architectural encounters and new forms of participation with the greater Los Angeles community.
